Backed by a quality fleet of high-quality engineering equipment and over 50 years of civil industry experience, Coastwide Civil has made substantial contributions to a number of high-profile subdivision projects across New South Wales. From constructing new roads to installing utilities and building important community infrastructure, we’ve handled projects of all sizes, including major tier-1 client projects worth over $200 million.
Some of our most impressive past marine works projects have included:
Stage 1
Precinct B1C1 is the first subdivision precinct to be constructed on the waterfront area immediately surrounding the future Shell Cove boat harbour. This subdivision project encompassed an area of over 70,000 square metres to develop 38 residential lots, 63 medium-density lots, three medium-density super-lots, three road reserves, and 20 internal roads.
Stage 2
Precinct B1C1 (Stage 2) is the second subdivision precinct to be constructed in the Shell Cove waterfront area, to develop 15 residential lots, one medium density super-lot, a future car park lot, a future sewer pumping station lot, and two internal roads to encompass an area of over 18,000 square metres.
Stage 3
Precinct B1C1 Stage 3 will be the third subdivision precinct, and encompasses an area of over 50,000 square metres in order to develop 35 residential lots, 24 medium density lots, two medium-density super-lots and nine internal roads.
Stage 10D6 is located on Cowries Avenue and is part of the Shell Cove Waterfront Precinct project. This was a 27-lot torrens and community title subdivision and the third subdivision project Coastwide Civil undertook for our client Frasers Property Australia (formerly known as Australand).
This project involved the rehabilitation of the existing American Creek and its surrounding area, and included the construction of a memorial pathway and subdivision, gabion retaining walls, access roads, and culvert crossings. The most important part of this project was the planting and protection of the native tree species, which included the planting of native grasses for bank stabilisation and erosion control.
Coastwide Civil have been engaged by Frasers Property Australia to complete a major bulk earthworks and subdivision contract to complete the northern side of the Shell Cove Boat Harbour Precinct. This subdivision will feature a number of harbourfront lots, as well as apartment lots and medium-density living lots, completed by surrounding landscaping and recreational areas.
Precincts F and G are located to the north of the Boat Harbour and extend over 8 Ha of land between the Boat Harbour and Ron Costello Oval. The land slopes broadly to the south toward the new harbour and development will provide a range of low and medium density housing options. Future open space corridors and pocket parks will provide gathering and play spaces as well as pedestrian links between the Boat Harbour, the existing Shellharbour Village and Ron Costello Oval. Residential lots have a variety of orientations throughout the Precincts
At Henry Parkes Drive, we are actively engaged in the subdivision of 37 blocks, transforming the area into a well-structured and fully developed site. Our current focus is on comprehensive earthworks and preparation for the installation of essential infrastructure, including piping systems. This groundwork is crucial for ensuring the long-term stability and functionality of the subdivision, setting the stage for future construction and development.
